Wichita Falls Public Library to offer blood pressure cuffs

WICHITA FALLS, TX (RNN Texoma) - The Wichita Falls Public Library is offering blood pressure cuff kits for check out to the public.

The library’s kits include a blood pressure cuff, informational brochures, and a journal to track blood pressure.

The program is being offered through a grant from the Texas Department of Health and the Wichita Falls Department of Health.

Customers who check out the kits will return the cuff after three weeks.

"We're excited about offering these kits to our community," said Jana Hausburg, Library Administrator. "By providing free access for those who have issues with heart disease and stroke, we hope to give our customers better tools to help take control of their health."

Cuff kits are limited in quantity and check out for three weeks each.
