WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - A Wichita Falls man has been charged with Sexual Assault following an alleged incident at the Whataburger on McNiel Avenue. According to the arrest affidavit, on December 21, 2018, officers were dispatched to the fast food restaurant for a sexual assault that had just occurred.
Investigators spoke to the victim, who is not identified in the arrest affidavit, about the alleged assault. The victim said they had been with a man earlier at a nightclub nearby along with some other friends.
The man was later identified as Brady Burross, 25, according to WFPD. The victim said the group went to Whataburger after the bar closed. The victim then went into the restroom and not long after, Burross came into the same restroom and forced the victim to perform sexual acts on him, according to court documents.
The victim said Burross then sexually assaulted them after cornering them in the restroom. Burross then left the restaurant after the alleged assault. The victim left the bathroom and immediately told the friends that were there and the authorities were called.
Burross was later found and taken into custody at the intersection of University and Price Edward. Surveillance video from the restaurant gave a timeline of the incident and corroborated the sequence of events the victim told to investigators.
A warrant for Burross' arrest was issued the same day. He was booked into the Wichita Co. Jail and has since bonded out.
