WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Today will not necessarily be a warm day but this afternoon will be pleasant with sunny skies and light winds. Highs will be in the mid 50s. Clouds roll in this evening and the chances we’ll see sunshine Thursday are slim. Rain chances Thursday aren’t great. Nothing more than some drizzle or stray showers.
All forecast models still point to Friday with promising rain chances. We’ll see anywhere from a half inch to over an inch of rain through the day Friday into Friday night. Freezing rain, sleet and snow are not part of the forecast. In fact, we could see thunderstorms in parts of north Texas Friday afternoon. Most of the rain is gone by sunrise Saturday.
