Archery competition held ahead of Wichita County Livestock Show

WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Ahead of the Wichita County livestock show being held tomorrow, an archery competition associated with that event was held today.

Kids were split up by age levels and put into teams. Stats were compared to previous years so kids can look at their improvement.

A trap shoot event was held earlier this month, also in conjunction with the livestock show.

The livestock show kicks off Thursday with animals being admitted into the JS Bridwell Ag Center beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Weigh ins will be held at 10:00 a.m. for rabbits and 1:00 p.m. for swine, sheep, goats and cattle.

Friday features the cattle, meat goat, breeding doe, dairy doe, market sheep, breeding sheep, breeding swine and market swine shows.

The three day affair concludes on Saturday with horse, turkey and broiler shows as well as the premium sale.

Awards for Trap, Archery and Project show will be presented at 6:30 in the ring.
