Man sentenced for January 2018 Quick Stop robbery

WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - A Wichita Falls man has been sentenced to five years in prison for a January 2018 robbery. Justin Cody McMinn, 31, was sentenced on Wednesday morning in the 89th District Court.

McMinn was arrested in February 2018, weeks after the robbery at the Quick Stop on Holliday Road. According to WFPD, McMinn entered the store just after 11 p.m. on January 28, 2018, with brass knuckles and demanded money from the store clerk.

McMinn made off with some cash before police arrived. A warrant was soon issued for his arrest. He plead guilty on Wednesday as part of a promise plea and was given credit for 194 days served behind bars by Judge Charles Bernard.
