WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Wichita Falls Police say they arrested a woman at Kohls after she was caught shoplifting items from the store.

The suspect, 33-year-old Mikee Phillips has five previous convictions for theft, according to court documents.

Police were called to the store by a loss prevention officer who recognized Phillips from previous thefts at the store.

The witness saw Phillips, on camera, enter the store with a large purse, walk around the store putting items into a cart, then go into a dressing room.

Several items were left inside the dressing room, but when Phillips walked out the store employee says the purse looked fuller than it had before.

Phillips allowed police to search her purse where two pairs of pants were discovered, valued at around $78.

Phillips was arrested on a charge of Theft with two or more previous convictions. Her bond was set at $5,000.

As of Thursday afternoon, Phillips no longer appears on the Wichita County Jail Inmate Roster.
