WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Officials with the animal service center in Wichita Falls want to thank all of the rescues who foster pets until homes can be found.
Numbers are in from last year from the nearly one-dozen groups who foster animals.
Altogether, they took in a total of 445 animals.
The rescues run 24 hours a day, seven days a week dedicating time and energy to homeless animals in our community.
Their social media accounts are littered with thanks to everyone who adopted, volunteered or donated to help save animals' lives.
“It’s been a really good year, we’ve had a lot of great adoptions. Our community really stepped up and supported the animals in our community. And we appreciate that”. - Diane Bowman, Animal care and adoption supervisor.
