WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - The Alzheimer’s Association held a support training event Wednesday in Downtown Wichita Falls.
The focus was teaching about dementia.
Orgranizers say the group serves as a safe haven for understanding companionship and encouragement for those who are often lost int he maze of the mysterious disease.
A dementia care and education specialist, Teepa Snow, was on hand to answer questions.
Snow has written books on the subject of dementia.
The groups also provide a forum for learning with education topics discussed concerning dementia related issues.
