WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - The OneLife Community Church is partnering this year with the Tim Tebow Foundation to bring A night to shine to Wichita Falls.
A Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience for people with special needs ages 14 and older.
Unfortunately, young women attending this event often do not have the financial means to purchase a dress, that’s where two local businesses have stepped in to help.
Carissa Davis, owner of Imagery by Carissa partnered with Regeneration Boutique to collect dresses.
Those dresses will be given to some of the special needs prom attendees. They’ll even be allowed to keep the dresses after this magical night.
“A lot of places are offering to donate or to borrow outfits. We wanted an opportunity for women to receive a dress and hold onto it and cherish it forever and maybe wear it again at the event next year,” Davis said.
Both businesses offered discounts and drawings in exchange for lightly used dresses.
And, in case you missed today’s event, you can still donate through the end of the week by dropping off used dresses at either store.
