WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - The good news is, we’ll make it to the 60s today. The bad news, today will be very windy. In fact there is a lot of wind in this week’s forecast. Get ready for strong south winds today, sustained at over 20 miles per hour. The gusty wind, combined with occasional sunshine will help drive temperatures to this mid 60s. The first of multiple cold fronts this week arrives Tuesday. Behind the front, winds will become strong from the north. The front won’t make a huge impact on our temperatures, just keep them cool.
Another front arrives Thursday evening, bringing strong north winds. The air will be a touch colder behind this front, resulting in highs only in the 40s Friday. Yet another front Saturday. None of the fronts are expected to bring rain, though it’s not completely out of the question Tuesday.
