WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) -
The Texas Rangers were in texoma today.
Pitchers Matt Bush and Zac Curtis and utility player Isiah Kiner-Falefa meet fans and signed autographs.
There was a big crowd out to meet the guys and the Rangers say it’s special coming to a place like Wichita Falls that isn’t super close to Arlington.
“For me personally," Rangers player Kiner-Falefa said. “These are the fans you don’t see very often. They are behind the TV screen a lot of the time but they are there for every game giving their same support as anybody that would be at the game. Just to come here and show them how we appreciate them and kind of get on a personal level here. It means a lot for us and the community.”
Rangers pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 12 with spring training games starting on Feb. 23.
The regular season begins at home vs. the Chicago Cubs on March 28th.
