WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Today will be a cloudier version of yesterday, we could even see rain tonight. The cold front draped over central Oklahoma yesterday afternoon drifted into north Texas this morning delivering a chillier morning compared to Monday. South winds will help warm our temperatures nicely. Assuming the cold front lifts into Oklahoma, north Texas should warm well into the 70s this afternoon despite scattered clouds.
It’s not entirely out of the question that we see rain this evening. The best rain chances of the week come tomorrow. Wednesday’s rain comes in the form of thunderstorms both early morning and late evening. Wednesday will also be our last day of the week with 70 degree warmth. A cold front will blast in early Thursday morning bringing much cooler air. Thursday will be one of those days when it will be warmer at 5 in the morning than 5 in the afternoon. Wind chills might be in the 30s Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will remain cold into the weekend.
