WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Wichita Valley Water Supply officials say a boil order will continue until further notice following a water line break earlier this week.
Those officials say water samples were taken on Wednesday. They hope to receive the results by the end of the week.
Customers will need to continue boiling their water for the time being.
Customers need to boil their water prior to any and all consumption. This means before washing your hands, washing your face, brushing your teeth, drinking, cooking, etc...
The water should be brought to boil and then boiled for two minutes. This should be done prior to any consumption, including making ice.
Children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems are very vulnerable to harmful bacteria, so all water customers should follow these directions.
Customers can also purchase bottles water or get water from other suitable sources for drinking water or consumption purposes.
