Funeral arrangements made for Wichita Falls boy, 3, killed in Dallas hit-and-run

DALLAS, TX (TNN) - Funeral arrangements have been made for the 3-year-old Wichita Falls boy that was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Dallas over the weekend.

Jorge Alberto Neri will be laid to rest on Saturday. His funeral service is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a liturgy service at 6 p.m. a the Pleasant Grove Calvary Memorial Funeral Home, according to the family.

Jorge was struck in front of a restaurant on Saturday, February 2, and the driver sped off. Dallas Police said a black Chevrolet Pickup LTZ with TX License LCM-2124 is the vehicle that struck Jorge.

On Tuesday, officers recovered the vehicle but not the suspect, who has been named as Ramon Garcia-Ruiz. At the time this story was published, Garcia-Ruiz had not been caught by authorities.

The family started a fundraiser to help pay for Jorge’s funeral. They are looking to raise at least $10,000.
