WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Two Texoma men are in custody Friday after the Wichita Falls Police Department Organized Crime Unit executed search and arrest warrants Thursday.
Police were following Joe Martin Gabaldon, 28 of Wichita Falls Thursday when he was pulled over and arrested at around 1:40 p.m. Police knew Gabaldon had felony warrants for his arrest at the time he was pulled over.
Police say they found around 11 grams of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine in Gabaldon’s pocket during his arrest.
Less than two hours later, at around 3:20 p.m. the Organized Crime Unit along with SWAT officers executed a search warrant in the 1600 block of Oceola Avenue. Police say Joe Gabaldon was the defendant listed on the search warrant.
During the search, officers located a 9mm pistol and three baggies with less than 4 grams of methamphetamine.
Gabaldon has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. As of Friday afternoon, he remains in the Wichita County Jail with a combined bond of $35,000.
Police also arrested 68-year-old Donald Lee Adams, who was inside the home when police executed the warrant. An arrest affidavit for Adams says he admitted to police the methamphetamine found inside the home was his.
Adams has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He remains in the Wichita County Jail with a bond of $5,000.
