WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - A Wichita Falls Family is being assisted by the Red Cross after an overnight fire left their home in ruins.
Fire crews were called to the home in the 2500 block of Inglewood Drive at just before 5:00 Saturday morning. The first arriving engine reported heavy fire and smoke coming from the garage.
The Wichita Falls Fire Department says it took 20 firefighters about 15 minutes to extinguish the fire.
Four residents were inside the home when the fire started, one reported minor injuries from broken glass, according to the WFFD. We’ve since been informed by family members that one man was flown to Parkland Hospital and is in ICU.
The home received $30,000 in damages, with another $10,000 in damages to belongings, including a band new car parked in the driveway.
The Fire Department says the Red Cross has provided assistance to four adults.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
