Warmer temperatures will be back by the middle of next week

WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - The high for today will be in the upper 70s and even the lower 80s in some places. Overnight Tonight is when things start to change. The cold front will be making it’s way through after midnight. The low for tonight will be in the lower 40s. With this cold front comes the chance for showers and a stray thunderstorm or two. Most of the rain will be after midnight tonight. The main bulk of the rain appears to take place between 3 and 8 in the morning. Then after the rain goes away on Saturday we will see a high in the mid 50s with some strong northerly winds at 15 to 25 miles per hour. Saturday night will be fairly chilly as the low will be in the mid to lower 30s, however the latest model runs are trending colder so we may see the upper 20s. Sunday looks to be similar to Saturday as the high will be in the mid 50s and the low will be in the mid 30s. Then after the weekend we will start warming up with a high near 60 on Monday. But starting Tuesday it looks as if we will start seeing 70s and maybe by as early as Wednesday we could see 80s.
