Man Arrested on 8th DWI

A Wichita County Sheriff's patrol car was nearly hit early Wednesday morning after an oncoming car swerved in front of the car.

The 61-year-old male driver was then pulled over on the 2500 block of River Road.

Deputies say he was arrested for DWI. When looking at the man's background deputies found he had 7 previous DWI convictions.

With those 7 previous convictions, this time around he is facing felony charges.
