Tuesday morning, an air tractor loaded with fuel and parked at Kickapoo Downtown Airpark caused a hazardous material leak. The plane was being prepared to be ferried to Spain when something happened to cause the fuel to leak.
At least 10 units with the Wichita Falls Fire Department responded to the incident, including the Hazmat crew.
Crews are still in the process of clean up, and a small section of the concrete lot is cordoned off, but that section should be reopened within the next few days. Flights were not affected.
No one was injured in the incident. The plane was one of two loaded with fuel and headed for delivery to a Spanish buyer.
