KAUZ-TV: NewsChannel 6 Now | Wichita Falls, TXGrass Fire Near Lakeside City

Just before 1 p.m. Friday officials spotted a grass fire near Carter Road, about five miles southwest of Lakeside City. Residents were quickly warned the blaze could endanger their homes. Newschannel 6 crews at the scene said they saw several Atmos employees shoveling dirt on the flames to help fight the fire. The Lakeside City Fire Department responded to the scene to finish putting out the flames.
