New Information on 4-Month-Old Left in Car

No charges have been filed yet after a 4-month-old was found in a hot car in the Kohl's parking lot Saturday.

It happened just after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. The child was treated and released at United Regional with no serious injuries. Wichita Falls police filed an Abandoning/Endangering Child report that will be forwarded to The Texas Department of Family Protective Services.

No arrests have been made. The child's mother and grandmother were apparently shopping while the child was alone in the car.

Police say the car was around 102 degrees.
