Former Allred Prison Guard Indicted

A former Allred prison guard will be going to trial for some serious allegations.

In the lawsuit against Richard Carter, he is accused of telling an inmate he wouldn't be paroled or get hot meals if he didn't commit sexual acts.

Wichita County Deputies said the victim supplied evidence for authorities to test back in 2008.

Two years later the reports came back with a DNA match. Carter was arrested in May.

Authorities said Carter confessed.

He was indicted this week by the Wichita County Grand Jury.
