The city of Wichita Falls is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in improvements for the Municipal Airport all in hopes of getting millions more.
The Federal Aviation Administration is pushing smaller airport terminals for improvements.
City councilors decided at Tuesday morning's meeting to go forward with a design plan.
$350,000 for the project is coming from airport equity funds. The other $400,000 will come out of the general fund.
