'Mastermind' of Escape From Annex Sentenced to 10 Years for Jail Break

Jimmy Noel Hughes Jimmy Noel Hughes

Jimmy Noel Hughes has received a 10 year sentence for his role in the Escape from Annex.

The charge was for escape while arrested/confined.

In his trial on aggravated sexual assault of a child, Hughes admitted to the Escape from Annex, claiming the plan was his idea. He was already serving a 198 year sentence for the aggravated sexual assault of a child.

He's also facing more charges, accused of smuggling drugs into the jail.
