DPS Arrests 11 in Major Meth Bust

A two year investigation in Texoma has landed 11 people in jail in a meth bust.

DPS tells us they arrested all 11 people in Wichita County. They're searching for eight more.

It stems from a smurfing investigation conducted by the Department of Public Safety. The Texas Highway Patrol, Wichita Falls PD, the Wichita County District Attorney's Office and the Wichita County Sheriff's office assisted in the arrests.  

The investigation began in January of 2009. 

DPS tells Newschannel 6 with that amount of the pseudoephedrine pills purchased, 3 quarters of a million dollars worth of meth could have been made.
