    The Kay Yeager Coliseum was the final addition of the Multi-Purpose Events Center complex 15 years ago. Since then its hosted numerous sporting events and concerts and just recently it welcomed WWE Live back to Wichita Falls.

    For Norman Mendieta and his family, Lake Wichita is the spot. "We come out here and we bring the kids to play and of course go fishing and just enjoy the scenery," Mendieta said. Mendieta who was raised in Wichita Falls said he's all for proposition B, especially for one thing.

    "It was built in 1927 and the dedication was on May 8th 1928 where over 3,000 people came and attended," Wichita County Archivists, Bill Steward said. "It was quite a day."

    Some downtown Wichita Falls merchants told Newschannel 6 on Tuesday Proposition-D could hurt their businesses if it passes. If passed, a new Municipal Government Center would be built in the city's downtown that would house City Hall, Wichita Falls Police Department and Wichita Falls Fire Department.

Henry Florsheim, Chamber of Commerce CEO, said Proposition-D, the bond to build the center, would boost the city's economy. City council members said the current buildings face structural and overcrowding problems.

    Wichita Falls residents voiced their concerns over Bond Proposition G, which would fund a project meant to improve Downtown’s infrastructure. The proposal would allot $21.9 million to help downtown add things like bike lanes, parking, better traffic lights and other advancements.
