The weather pattern remains quite active, with daily, isolated chances for showers and thunderstorms. If you've been outside and noticed how muggy it has been, this moisture in the low levels of the atmosphere is helping produce these isolated storms. However, with no big upper level storm systems moving through, I do not expect any organized or widespread rain, and the severe threat remains very low through the weekend.
In terms of temperatures as we head into the Memorial Day Weekend, we know it could be a lot worse! Daytime highs will top out near 90 each afternoon for the next seven days, which is only about 2-3 degrees above seasonal averages.
Isolated rain chances will stick around through next week, although Monday and Tuesday will probably feature the least number of storms.
