SKYWARN 6 FORECAST

Hot Holiday Weekend

Updated:
There is a chance for a stray shower or thunderstorm across eastern Texoma this afternoon, and a possibility of storms near northwestern Texoma later tonight. For much of the region, however, the best rain chances have passed us by. As the rain chances decrease, temps will really increase. The triple digit heat is going to be the main weather headline for the second half of the weekend! Highs will be near 100° on Sunday and Labor Day, and Wichita Falls will hit the century mark by Tuesday.

Saturday: Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Hot and little humid. Highs in the mid to upper 90s.

Sunday: A lot of sunshine. Hot and breezy. Highs near 100°. South winds at 10 to 20 mph.

Labor Day: A lot of sunshine. Hot and breezy. Highs near 100°. South winds at 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday: Hot and sunny with highs in the upper 90s.

Enjoy this Saturday of Labor Day Weekend!
