Temperatures will slowly rise after the December Freeze this week, but it will remain cold.
Clouds will increase as our next shot of cold air drops south tonight. Lows again will dip down into the upper teens. You'll need that heavy coat and sweater again Monday with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 20s to near 30.
We begin to see that rise in temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday with above freezing readings by day. Highs Tuesday near 35 and 40 on Wednesday. We'll be in the 40s Thursday, before finally heating into the 50s Friday into next weekend. What a stretch of cold weather and it's not officially winter yet!
