Talk about a turnaround! Temperatures this afternoon are more than 30 degrees colder in many spots than yesterday afternoon, when we were well into the 70s. We will not have to deal with this chilly weather for very long.
This evening, we will keep a good bit of cloud cover in the forecast, along with chilly temperatures. We'll be in the 30s for most of the evening. We will see the wind decrease, especially after midnight. That is also when the clouds will begin to slowly clear out.
By Sunday morning, we'll drop into the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. The afternoon will feature a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures Sunday afternoon will be more than 15 degrees warmer than what we've seen today. Most Texoma towns will reach the 60 degree mark.
Very warm air will move in for Monday and Tuesday. A mix of 70s and 80s will be common across the area, along with very gusty southwest winds. Temperatures will drop back into the 50s for Wednesday.
