The average temperatures since December 5th is 23.2 degrees. That is well below average! The December Freeze is continuing, but a slow rise in temperatures is expected later this week.
Clouds will stick around tonight with some partial clearing late. Temperatures will drop into the mid teens by morning. Again on Tuesday, you'll need that heavy coat and to be careful on the roads with slick spots of black ice. We should see more sunshine, helping to further melt the ice. Temperatures should rise above freezing into the middle and upper 30s.
Highs Wednesday should be near 40 with 40s again on Thursday. We'll forecast some warm 50s by Friday. There may also be a slight chance for a shower or two Thursday night into Friday.
