A few light rain showers have already moved through Texoma during the overnight. A few more isolated rain showers and storms could develop later Sunday morning. Our rain chances will increase Sunday afternoon and evening. The second round of rain will be more widespread. Some of the storms that form this afternoon/evening could be strong to severe. Wichita Falls and areas west of Wichita Falls have the best chances of seeing severe weather. An isolated tornado, large hail and severe winds are all possible. Descent rain showers and storm chances will linger into early Monday morning before they start to decrease. There is only a slight chance for rain on Monday.
Overall, Easter Sunday is going to be mostly cloudy, warm and windy. Temperatures will start out around 60 degrees and quickly warm to the mid to upper 70s by the afternoon. The wind will be out of the south at 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will slowly drop to around 60 degrees Sunday night into Monday morning.
Next week looks very warm. Highs everyday will be in the 80s. We are tracking another storm system that could bring us rain Wednesday night into Thursday. We will have more on that as it approaches. James Parish, Skywarn 6 Meteorologist
