A cold front will slide south through Texoma tonight, bringing and end to the recent mild weather. By morning, we'll be in the 30s and 40s.
Clouds will thicken up throughout the day on Friday as a storm system heads our way. Rain will break out by Friday afternoon and increase, becoming wide spread Friday night into Saturday. Some of the rain could come down hard at times and we may see a few thunderstorms also get mixed in. Still thinking that 1 to 2 inches of rain will be common across Texoma before the rain comes to an end Saturday afternoon or evening.
Colder air returns by the storm system for Sunday into Monday of next week.
The weather looks good for Santa. Temperatures by day will be in the 50s and at night in the 30s. It could turn colder after Christmas.
