Newschannel 6 - KAUZ, a local television station located in Wichita Falls, TX, is seeking a News Reporter to perform general assignment reporting. Responsibilities include develop news sources and contacts; enterprise and report news stories; and report spot news live, in the field, or in the studio. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential with the ability to make quick decisions and handle deadlines. Qualified candidates will be creative and energetic with excellent writing and communication skills; must be able to work as a team player in a high stress environment. Valid driver's license, good driving record, and previous experience in shooting video and editing news stories required. A bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred.
