Georgia Considering English Only Driver's License Test

A frustrated crowd gathered in front of the capitol building in Atlanta Wednesday to protest a bill they say is "racist."

The legislation, which moved through Georgia's senate last week, would make the driver's license test in English only.

Currently, the test can be taken in 13 different languages.

Protesters say the bill is anti-immigrant as well as racist, and they are calling on Georgia's House of Representatives to block it.

Supporters say it's a public safety issue.

If passed, Georgia would be the only state with such a law, although other states are considering similar measures.
