Republican Primary Runoff Results

Wichita County voters got a chance to take part in a runoff election today.
Greg King and Tony Fidelie in a heated battle for the republican nomination for Judge County Court at Law #2.
 Greg King is the winner. He got about 450 more votes than Tony Fidelie for a 54% to a 46% edge. He now moves on to face Kimberly Latham in the November general election.

There was a state wide run off as well. 87 percent of precincts are reporting for this election. With Debra Lehrmann in the lead.
The winner will move on to the November election to face Democrat Jim Sharp.

We caught up with Greg King tonight at his watch party and here is what he had to say about his victory, "I am honored to represent the party in the November 2nd general election. I look forward to getting started tomorrow and getting ready."
