Oklahoma Senate Sends Abortion Bill To Governor

A bill is one step closer to law in Oklahoma that would make it more difficult for women to get an abortion.

The state senate has approved a bill requiring women seeking an abortion to complete a lengthy questionnaire that includes questions about their race, relationships and reasons for getting an abortion.

The bill now heads to Governor Brad Henry, who already has vetoed two abortion bills this session.

Both vetoes were overridden by the Republican-controlled legislature.
