Texoma Mourning Loss Of Local Legend

Texoma has lost a legend. Ray Clymer was a businessman, pioneer and advocate for Wichita Falls. His outreach and direction is credited with bringing a number of businesses to Texoma.

In the late 1970's, Clymer was a principal owner of Newschannel 6, under his direction the station became the dominant news leader in Texoma.

Clymer passed away in his home yesterday after battling a long illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the end of the week.
