Lawmakers Threatening Airlines About High Fees

U.S. airlines are making billions of dollars in fees. For that, airlines are getting a grim warning from lawmakers.

At a hearing in the house Wednesday, they discussed the additional fees that are charged to passengers for things like checked bags and even blankets.

One congressman says quote "congress will act" unless the industry limits those fees.

The airlines say passengers benefit from the fees because airlines are able to keep ticket prices down while charging flyers for only the services they use.
