City-Wide Garage Sale Helps Falls Families

After weeks of collecting donations, City Impact's City-Wide Garage Sale is over and it was a big success. The event raised money for the community service organization, which is affiliated with the First Assembly of God Church.

Organizers said Wichitans' generosity will help them help families all over town.

The organization provides necessities like food, furniture and appliances to needy families in the Falls.

Part of the money raised at today's auction will go to helping launch a lawn service business. City Impact hopes to offer some unemployed Wichitans work through the new business.
