Wichita Falls Set To Enact $1.5M Housing Plan

Wichita Falls City Councilors are expected to approve a public housing plan for the next four years.
That is a plan that will cost more than $1.5 million. That money comes from various block grants. The Consolidated Plan and the Annual Action Plan are aimed at helping low income families and neighborhoods improve. It also targets the homeless population with affordable housing options. Tuesday is the final public hearing on the plan once it is over Councilors will vote on putting the plan into motion. That meeting is Tuesday morning at 8:30am in City Council Chambers at Memorial Auditorium.
