Discussion will continue over the possible construction of a wind farm in Texoma.
Clay County officials and the public met Tuesday to discuss a possible step forward.
The county was looking to decide whether or not to designate a reinvestment zone and grant a tax abatement for the wind farm.
They did not reach a decision.
The wind farm would create jobs and give landowners four percent of the gross annual income.
Opponents of the farm spoke out saying it would be an eye-sore and destroy property.
No action will be taken until late August.
If the farm's developer, Horn Wind, does get approval to build, they'd have to find another 1500 acres of land to be leased.
The project, with 111 turbines, would then be completed in 2012.
