Judge Set To Rule On UT Affirmative Action Suit

Judges haven't made a ruling on a case brought up against a Texas university. The case involves two White students who were denied admission to the University of Texas at Austin.

Last year, a judge dismissed the lawsuit, however the two students appealed. The Judges at the Court of Appeals didn't immediately make a ruling after hearing arguments.

The students claim UT's consideration of race in its admissions process is unconstitutional. They say it pursues a representational goal rather than an educational one.
