Texas Democratic Fundraising Revived

When the President lands Monday, the Democratic nominee for Texas Governor, Bill White, will make himself scarce.

That's in part because backlash against President Obama and his policies has fueled Republican energy.

This comes as Texas Democrats are celebrating big bucks in campaign accounts.

It seems fundraising has given the Texas Democratic party the ability to go head-to-head with Governor Rick Perry.

The fundraising success over the past five years has given White $9 million for campaigning compared to Perry's $5.8 million.
