One-Day Emergency Congressional Session

Tuesday morning, House Democrats are coming together in an emergency session to pass a bill aimed at saving jobs.

The legislation passed in the Senate last week before Congress went on Summer break.

Lawmakers said the bill could save the jobs of hundreds of thousands of teachers and other public workers.

The House is also looking at the $600 million bill that would increase security along the U.S.-Mexico border.
