Robbery At Upscale Resale, WFPD Searching For Robber

Wichita Falls police are on the hunt for a criminal who brutally attacked a woman during a robbery.

Police said it happened at Upscale Resale in the 4100 block of Call Field just after 4 p.m. yesterday. The clerk told officers a man came in asking about a bracelet on display.
When the clerk went to get it, the man followed her behind the counter and started choking her and demanded she open the register. The clerk was able to get the register open, and the suspect threw her to the ground. Police say that's when she screamed for help from another worker in the back of the store. The robber then picked her back up and punched her, splitting her lip.

About this time, the other worker got to the front. The suspect punched her, causing her nose to bleed. He then took off with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described as an African American man in his thirties.
He is stands between 5'11 and 6'1 and weighs a 170 to a 190 pounds.
He was possibly driving a blue Sedan.
