Mosque At Ground Zero Controversy

The battle over plans to build a mosque near the site of the 9-11 attacks is getting more heated Monday Morning.

Republicans said the issue is going to be the ammo they need to fight Democrats in November.

Many Democrats said they are not worried and that the elections will be about issues.

But the controversy has reached all the way to the White House, with President Barack Obama lending his support to the idea.

"Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in the country."

The President later clarified, saying Muslims could build a mosque, but that doesn't mean they should.
