Officer Hurt in Crash With Suspect Out of Hospital

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - A Fort Worth police officer injured
when man sought in a College Station abduction slammed into his
squad car has been released from a Fort Worth hospital.

Fort Worth police Sgt. Pedro Criado disclosed the discharge
Sunday. He didn't reveal the name of the officer hurt in the
Saturday morning crash.

Meanwhile, the 42-year-old College Station man sought in the
deadly abduction remains in a Fort Worth hospital in police
custody. A College Station police spokesman said Sunday that an
aggravated kidnapping charge was still the only one filed against
Stanley Wayne Robertson. Officer Rhonda Seaton said that could
change when prosecutors review the case Monday.

Police had sought Robertson in the abduction of his
ex-girlfriend's mother, 59-year-old Annie Mae Toliver of College
Station. Her body was found about 5 a.m. Saturday in a Fort Worth
parking lot about three hours after the crash.
