Rider Grad Makes NFL Debut

Former Rider Raider David Nelson made his NFL Preseason debut this weekend for the Buffalo Bills.

He was probably the lone standout for the Buffalo offense, catching a team-high five passes for 47 yards and scoring the team's only touchdown on a five-yard pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick in the 3rd quarter of the Bills' 42-17 loss to Washington.

Nelson was signed as an undrafted free agent from Florida. He was named All-State 3 times as a Raider, in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
