Ft. Worth Policeman Recovering From Head-On Crash

A Fort Worth police officer is recovering after he wound up in a high speed chase.

Some dramatic video from the dash cam was recently released.

The officer was chasing a kidnapping suspect when police say the suspect turned around and drove head-on into the patrol car Saturday evening.

The officer is now out of the hospital, but by looking at the video it was a close call.

Officers were looking for the suspect who police said abducted his ex-girlfriends mother from College Station.

Her body was found about 5 a.m. Saturday in a Fort Worth parking lot, three hours after the crash.
