Millions Of Eggs Recalled

A recall could affect your morning breakfast.

228 million eggs are being recalled after they were linked to a salmonella poisoning outbreak.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention says the eggs are from a producer in Iowa called Wright County Egg, but are sold nation wide.

200 cases of salmonella poisoning were reported in three different states this summer.

The eggs were distributed under package names like Albertsons, Sunshine, Farm Fresh and Kemp.

Our local Albertsons is not affected by this recall.

The FDA is investigating the egg company.
